Wenger: "Our time is now."

"We have a squad which is very ambitious. We have the basic quality, they have international quality and are under 23, so their best time is now."

No Wenger, your time is not now, not until you figure out how to build a team that can do more than win a U-21 Premier League-- if one existed. The past couple years I had faith in you to stand out from the money spending competition and develop a squad over time built on great youth investment, but the sale of Adebayor and Toure say other wise. Toure, one of the only consistently good players in last season's Champion's League campaign, and Adebayor, a huge presence in the box. It's a shame Arsenal fans did not appreciate him: A) Now he has to play with Manchester City, and B) He's better then Bendtner? If it weren't for Arshavin they'd be completely done. These two players who were among the best on a team that severely struggled without Fabregas when he was injured last season. Fabregas' injury showed that Gallas' mid season criticism of the younger players on the team inept courage did have truth to it. Fabregas is a solid leader, but even his positioning is hankered by poor managing, as he is usually confined to a holding midfield role in front of Arsenal's back four, rather than up closer to the trequartista role where he is effective with the National team. Melo would have been a great compliment to Fabregas, but again, Arsenal strayed and allowed Juventus to nab him. Hopefully if Ebou and Rosicky stay healthy Arsenal can regain some stature and keep Man City out of a top four finish, just to slap them for spending so much stupid money. Doesn't matter though because Chelsea win the Premier League this season, you heard it here first.
